- So I'm playing around at LastFm and my ears perk up to a post rock instrumental track by Set Fire To Flames. Couldn't find them on emusic.com or Rhapsody. Found this label site instead. Enjoyed reading the copy on this adventurous band while downloading some mp3 files. Also see the high energy beat mechanica artist Books on Tape has a release here. Got turned onto some 21st century psychedelia by way of the group Shalabi Effect. Noise fans probably already know about Masonna and Merzbow having releases here also.

- I was a diehard Winamp 2.x user until 5.05 which lets you switch between classic and modern skin/features and has free internet tv channnels to boot. Out of all media players, probably the least demanding on system resources. Another feature I like is where you can select a track in playlist display, right click for file info and easily edit mp3 id tags.
Security flaw has been addressed by the way.
